All of our ensembles are rehearsed, organized groups. The repertoire is very similar for each group. For weddings, all of the ensembles can play any of the traditional processionals and recessionals as requested. If you are not sure what sound you prefer, it is very helpful to listen to tapes of our classical musicians.
SOLO PIANO There is nothing more elegant and beautiful than an accomplished pianist playing a well-tuned grand piano. You will be delighted with our staff of five, handsome, well dressed young piano masters! Any one of these fine, young men is sure to please even the most discriminating member of your board of directors. The perfect complement to an elegant dinner party or a cocktail reception before dinner. Or maybe you are planning a late-night party after dinner; upstairs in the hospitality suite. Nothing works the magic quite like a great piano player.
CLASSICAL GUITAR In recent years, South Florida has been the fortunate recipient of several Russian émigrés who happen to be WORLD CLASS artists in the field of classical guitar. We are pleased to present to you the finest, most accomplished guitarists working in the corporate arena. Our company has hand-picked only the best of the best, considering things like attitude, promptness, versatility, and of course talent! We can help you select the perfect artist for your event: whether that be a traditional guitarist, or a flamenco performer, or a light-classics master.
JAZZ DUO Pictured here is one of Miami's most requested jazz duos, Don & Jody. Not only are they good looking, but super talented as well! They bring state-of-the art electronics to enable a two-piece band to sound like five. Their repertoire includes songs by Sinatra, Ella, and all the other jazz standards; as well as most of today's adult contemporary music. Background or foreground, They're the best! Other duos we represent can fulfill any musical need you may have.
SMOOTH JAZZ
Scott Klarman Master of Smooth Jazz is an outgrowth of fusion, one that emphasizes its polished side. Generally, smooth jazz relies on rhythms and grooves instead of improvisation. There are layers of synthesizers, lite funk rhythms, lite-funk bass, elastic guitars, and either trumpets, alto, or soprano saxophones. The music isn't cerebral, like hard bop, nor is it gritty and funky like soul-jazz or groove. It is unobtrusive, slick, and highly polished, where the overall sound matters more than the individual. There is no one in South Florida who brings this jazz style to life better than Scott Klarman. He is without question the brightest star on South Florida's Jazz scene!
IMPERIAL BRASS Did you ever wish you could find the PERFECT brass group for fanfares and such? Well, The Imperial Brass is that group! It was founded by alumni of the University of Miami who happen to be the finest brass musicians in the area. These gents commonly work in the Florida Philharmonic and the New World Symphony. This excellent brass quintet has an extensive repertoire of popular and classical music... probably the largest of any quintet in Florida! And they are happy to make special arrangements on request.
HOLLYWOOD STRINGS The Hollywood Strings is one of the most polished and versatile performing groups in the Miami area, and since its founding in 1989, has become one of the most prominent ensembles in the entertainment business. Performing over 200 times per year, the group holds contracts with major Miami entertainment agencies, and is in great demand for public and private events of every kind. It is by far the most VERSATILE classical organization that we have come across.
STRING ENSEMBLE THE HILLS ARE ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUSIC.... If you can imagine it, we can make it happen for you. This chamber orchestra is available and PORTABLE! Featuring some of the best classical musicians in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, our string ensemble has entertained at the most prestigious events ever held for Florida's high society. Especially created by famous society bandleader, Steven Chase for a wealthy socialite client, this amazing group can play up to two full hours with NO SHEET MUSIC! That means they are totally mobile and can stroll around your ballroom to serenade your guests. We know of no other group in Florida that can boast this ability!
CHASE STRING QUARTET The Chase String Quartet has been performing in Miami and surrounding areas since 1980. Having played in hundreds of weddings, corporate, and social events, they bring confidence and expertise to their work. They play a mix of baroque, classical, and contemporary music, and work with you to create a unique program for your event. Experienced, professional, and dynamic, the Chase String Quartet will add an elegant dimension to your occasion, whether an intimate gathering or a large reception.
