Our first choice for jazzy swing music, for many reasons. Flexibility. Lou can play all swing, some swing, or just enough swing music to give your party its theme. That means after the first hour or so, the band can switch gears and play a wide variety of dance music. Secondly, they can work as a jazz trio, quartet, right up to a full big-band (15 pieces) with charts for all the different sized ensembles. Prefer costumes or traditional tuxedo... This is the 'most famous' traditional swing and jazz band in South Florida. They have over four hours of repertoire from memory. Having performed in Miami's top hotels and country clubs and even entertained the most discerning of audiences with a jazz gig at the Rainbow Room in Manhattan. The Vanguard has traveled the world, performing extensively in the UK and Europe. They have played at venues from the Royal Festival Hall and Ronnie Scott's, London to the Sydney Opera House and at many Jazz Festivals worldwide.
